Berry Picking Times and Hours

Strawberry Harvest early June to early July!

Raspberry & Tayberry harvest in July!

Picking times approximately 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay Schedule Example

Pickers are paid piece rate, not hourly Flats/Buckets, Start $3.85 per 6-box-flat or $5.50 per bucket, LESS Employee Taxes.

Requirements

  • Employees must be 16 years or older by their first day of work. 
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Minors must have a parent signed Parent Authorization form.
  • Pickers are required to attend an orientation. Minors must have a parent attend orientation with them.
  • Pickers are responsible for their own transportation. Our farm is not on a bus route.
  • Pickers are required to bring their employee badge each day. Only Biringer Farm employees with their own badge are allowed in the field.
  • Pickers must be able to bend, stoop, and squat for long periods of time.
  • Pickers must be able to pick 4 to 5 flats of Quality berries every Hour!

Berry Line: 425-259-0255 – Press 2 daily from 5:00 am to 5:15 am for picker updates.

Identification Requirements

1. Proof of Identity & Work Authorization examples:

  • Proof of Identity AND Work Authorization: U.S. Passport, U.S. Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, Employment Authorization Card
  • Proof of Identity (needs to be accompanied by a document proving work authorization): Driver’s License, Government-Issued ID Card, School ID Card with a photograph (current year)
  • Proof of Work Authorization (needs to be accompanied by a document proving identity): Social Security Card, U.S. Birth Certificate
