Strawberry Mile High Pie

Strawberry Jam using “Slicers” – Fresh Sliced & Sugared Strawberries ready to eat, freeze or make jam

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 10 oz. frozen strawberries
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • Pre-baked pie crust

Directions

1. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar, strawberries and lemon juice.  Beat  15 minutes, no less.

2. In another bowl whip the whipping cream.

3. Fold whipped cream into the strawberry mixture. Pour into the pre-baked pie crust.

4. Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight.
